since iOS 5.1 sample import dont work anymore :-(
Doesnt support this format
Amazing application for 2$! No latency, easy to use. Only one thing, I would put more group of pads and also put the fonts size of the name of the pads bigger.
After recent update, app launches, start button is pushed, and then app closes. Assistance?
The last update is amazing... For all of u who are seeing app crashes you just need to delete and reinstall! It will work flawlessly afterwards.. The creator of the app told me the crash is due to your old settings conflicting with the new ones...
States in App purchase you get 7 pads. But the extra 6 pads have NO samples?? Very disappointed getting empty slots???
On iPad mini with iOS 7 the app not work correctly! When I try to insert my samples, the app crashes!! Please I believe in you and I payed. Now I want a working app!!!
Hard to discribe how bad this app is. more than half the tracks I try to add fail with no information or indication of how to fix it.
LEGIT.... threw down couple sick beats....... kanye here i come!
When u assign a sample to the pad it gets deleted when u exit the app. And you have to re assign all the samples again.
It isnt clear in the description that ONLY eight (8) samples are included with the app--the user must provide the sources (such as from recordings), to assign to the other pads. So, I just paid .99 cents for eight (8) samples--a disappointment. The app should include a larger pool of samples, say, 40, if its ever going to compete with other apps in this arena. Nevertheless, this app may be perfect for anyone whom has never used a sampler in their life, given its barebones approach.
Is it just me or does this loop thing even work. Theres no mention of it AT ALL!
I finally just paid the $2 bucks to see if I could tweak this to work as a sampler in gigs! So I made 8 samples with words too, "Poppin bottles in the Ice" but there is no way to crop it and when u hit the pad, there is hesitation! So I went in and cropped each word sample with it starting instantly with Audacity and re-synced, but there is still a slight hesitation. So when you tap to the beat, its off! This needs instant start on touching of the pad to work, after that I would give 5 Stars, but now its useless unless your just doing horns not on the beat! I have Djay and would rather just use that as it is instant startup on the Cue point you set! Just wish there was more than one in Djay! Thats why I was hoping I could make this work! Oh well, maybe they can fix it on the next update!
Best app Ive found to quickly and easily play back samples from your existing library. Simple and usable -- needs a few UI tweaks to get to five stars but Im using it frequently.
This looked to be exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to be able to program my own sounds to pads. But like many other programs, the problem is with latency. There is too much of a delay after striking the pad before the sound plays. This makes it useless if used on stage with other instruments. I cant say I feel completely ripped off since you pay for what you get. This was a $2 app that performs like a $2 app. Im still waiting for someone to come up with an app that has an interface like the one this one has, but an app that has the latency issues solved.
Individual gain control for each sample pad would be nice.
i used the FREE version. i bought it thinking it was going to have a few other samples but nop. so i edit my own sounds. other than that the app its great for .99 cents not bad. well now its 1.99
Would be nice if dj sampler had a horizontal view of the app because I have the numark idj3 mixer it has an iPod dock to play and view your iPod songs horizontally
It works ok but very limited. Loading sounds only works with your iPod library. Cant modify bank 1. Gain doesnt go lower than 100 so not much help as a volume adjustment.
