This app is not for making beats, great for triggering samples (effects), nothing else. Would be nice if you could control the volume of each sample individually. Its still a nice app though, and have had no issues with it.

All I wanna do is ride around and pop off sounds for myself. I love it.

Overall dj sampler is a great app! Clean design and easy to use. Would easily get 5stars if rotation support was added... As is the app wont switch to vertical display, yet when assigning sounds the search only displays vertical... A fix would make dj sampler best sampler app in store!

So IT DOES let you play two or more samplers at the same time.... I been using it for a while and havent have a single problem :-) love it..!!!!

Does not support importing .WAV files, only MP3 and M4A files. Seamless looping works best with .WAV and fortunately .M4A files which this app loops perfectly. You can label the track buttons which is cool. The only downside for me is that while you can start and play more than one track, the tracks can not be stopped individually. When you press "kill" (stop) all the tracks stop at once. I prefer the look and functionality of the buttons on the iSample app, but unfortunately you can not label the buttons. ISample only has 6 tracks where DJ Sampler has 4 banks of 8 for a whopping 32 tracks. Well done!

If this app wants to compete with sir sampleton or samplewhiz, or space sampler or ivoxel or some of the other super awesome sampler apps - then it will NEED effects and way more options. With this app you can basically loop your sample. Whooptydoo. And the samples it comes packed with are the ultimate in cheeseballs. Nobody would use those samples. This one needs a lot more if it wants to even be the least bit useful or find a way onto my mixes.

I wanna cut down a song for a sample, app doesnt let me do that, wasted money

I loved this app and used it for every gig every weekend until Ty latest update. Please fix ASAP I need it.

Please fix this!!!! As soon as I added the update it crashes at start button rendered the app useless :( gotta use it for gig this weekend also!

Its not ideal...but the crash CAN be fixed by completely uninstalling the program, then reinstalling. Then, it works great like it always has.

Might have to delete the app and reinstall if youve had it before. Works great for all types of DJ gigs. Different pages of samples for different audiences ... Perfect. Tried a few others and they dont come close. I read some bad reviews about editing sounds in the app ... If thats what you want then use a computer. All true DJs should know how to work with this app.

Simple and effective to use

I have use the free version and was pretty happy but needed to be able to assign sounds. Works great so far, I have my devices connected to a mixer and this saved me money by not having to by a separate mixer.

Very little preloaded samples. No effects, ugly appearance SP 404 is better

What I love about this it is easy to used , and you can add your own fx, this is very good for dancehall music,thanks good work.

Since I updated to iOS7, I cannot assign names to new sound files!

Great app, but cant assign a name after updating to iOS7. Please help!!

Only can play the 8 samples that come with it. They have no real website and the support screen doesnt even work! Nothing I have used by them so far works at all!!!!
